Q: What is Orion's Reach?

Orion's Reach is a not-for-profit organization with the goal of creating an opportunity for everyone to experience the benefits of a formal mentorship program.

Q: What is a Mentee?

Self-motivated individuals who are committed to personal and professional growth and who receive advice and guidance from a more experienced or skilled mentor. A mentee will have specific skills or competencies they want to learn from their mentor.

Q. What is a Mentor?

An experienced professional in a particular industry or subject matter expert who shares the benefits of that experience, knowledge, and expertise with the mentee. Plays a role as guide, advisor, role model who supports mentees to set realistic expectations for their career development and provides them with knowledge and competencies to support their mentees' success.

Q: How Do I become an Orion's Reach Mentor?

Are you enthusiastic about supporting others to reach their potential and champion for their success? If yes, apply to become a Mentor with us. Once your application is received, our selection committee evaluates and reviews the application and will contact you should be a fit for our mentorship group.

Q: What is the mentorship program fee? 

The program fee is $200 for six months.

Q: Is there a discounted rate for students?

The rate for students is $150 for six-month program.  We are also offering the same rate for members of other non-profit organizations.

Q: How do I continue to participate after my six-month program?

Yes, you can continue to participate at a monthly rate of $50.  This offer is limited to mentees registered previously in a six-month program or in the monthly plan for six months.


Q: Who can apply for this program?

There are no restrictions or conditions on who can apply. We are proud to be a diverse and inclusive organization and welcome all to participate in our program.

Q: Do I have to sign up during a specific time period?

Mentees may apply to sign up at any time based on their individual schedule and needs.
